Chester : A Two-Person Exhibition with Marily Levine

$15.00 CAD

unpaginated. Other than the usual ex-library markings, and a 4cm tear to the bottom of the rear cover, this is a very good copy. This is the publication which accompanied the two person exhibit at Norman Mackenzie Art Gallery over the period 1974:04:12 – 1974:05:12. These two artists are Donovan T. Chester and Marilyn Levine, both of whom received their initial training in Regina. This book is almost exclusively a B&W record of Chester at work, “As for a statement — the paintings are statement enough. After all, it is the finished work that is important, not the method, tools or media…” No work of Marilyn Levine is illustrated.
