pp. [8] 47. This is an advance copy which preceded a projected limited print run of 550 — this was eventually reduced to a run of 500. The cover has an “XXX” printed diagonally across the front board and the colourized cartoon illustrations are by Pearl Binder. There is water damage to the bottom- and fore-edges. The binding is in full-burlap which is losing threads at the head and foot of the spine and the hinges are starting to give.
